Fourth of July Celebration
Hometown parade down Periwinkle Way in the morning with free gifts & candy. Visitors and islanders alike participate in the afternoon Road Rally. Come dusk, view the fireworks from the causeway. Call 239-472-1080

Christmas Luminary Trail & Open House
More than 3,000 luminary candles line Sanibel's main street one weekend evening, Captiva's the other, creating a magical glow to usher in the holiday spirit! Many businesses sponsor entertainment and provide free refreshments. Santa winds through the streets aboard a fire engine as carolers chug along aboard the Sanibel trolley, entertaining passengers and inviting them to join in the celebration.
