The Theatre
Theatre is alive and well here on Sanibel Island and Fort Myers. The island's lively arts are made up of two local playhouses on Periwinkle Way and a dinner theater nearby in Fort Myers.
The Schoolhouse Theater
Seasoned Director, Victor Legarreta, a showman for the past 15 years, a 7 year performer at the original Old Schoolhouse Theatre, and Director at the Off Broadway Palm Black Box, brings his music back to the island with his unique, stylish brand of musical comedy. The Schoolhouse Theater, lovingly named after our original old schoolhouse building, is now located at 2200 Periwinkle Way. Our facility is larger, newer, and beautiful. There are 160 seats and there isn't a bad seat in the house. We offer group rates and season subscriptions. Please join us for our 2004-2005 season. Our Box Office number is (239) 472-6862.
