Sanibel and Captiva Independence Day Parade

The 21st annual Sanibel and Captiva Islands Independance Day Parade will be held Monday, July 4th begining at 9:30 a.m.  This year theme is Shellabration !

The Grand Marshells will be Anne Joffe and Ann Arnoff, representing the Sanibel Shell Fair and Show, entering its 75th year in 2012.

Parade entries will be judged in the following categories:

 

Junonia-Most Original

Lightning Whelk-Best Music

Kings Crown-Most Patriotic

Alphabet Cone-Most Unusual

Coquinia-Best Non-Commercial
